Immigration Department Assistant

The Immigration Department is responsible to provide direct service to refugees and immigrants qualified and eligible for benefits being sought.  This includes duties scheduling appointments; conducting finger print appointments in a timely fashion and ensuring all paperwork, including applications for immigration are completed accurately and in a timely fashion. Responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations and relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of other tasks related to immigration services and procedures as assigned. 
This position is part time from September 17, 2018 through January 20, 2019, with a possibility of continuing past the expected end date.
Qualifications: 
High School diploma
Bi-lingual (Spanish)
Knowledge and experience in immigration law and procedures preferred.
