Kansas City, MO –On Tuesday June 3rd Jewish Vocational Service marked the beginning of construction on our most recent endeavor, The JVS Baltimore Ave. Dime Store with a groundbreaking ceremony. The store will be located at our main office at 1608 Baltimore, within the existing Sheltered Workshop area. In addition to selling daily necessities, The JVS Baltimore Ave. Dime Store, will also offer small gift items, seasonal items, candy and a variety of other products. The décor the store will reflect the era of the old style “dime store”.
