Giving of yourself is a true gift for JVS. Volunteers for office work, at special events, and serving on committees is always appreciated. JVS offers many types of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers donate a few hours a week or month, while others as little as twice a year. Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

• Guest Presenters: Share your area of expertise, it may be relevant to those we serve who are doing career exploration.
• Mock Interviews: Conduct mock interviews with those we serve who are doing career exploration, give them positive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Clothing-Household Items Bank: Individuals or groups can donate clothing and/or household items or organize clothing-household items drives to benefit the refugees we resettle who arrive to this country and must rebuild their lives with little or nothing.
• Office Volunteer: Office volunteers assist with mailings, data entry, filing, making phone calls for donations.
• Create your niche! Do you have a specialized skill or advanced knowledge in a particular subject and you think you could benefit JVS? Let us know! We are eager to hear from anyone who has a genuine desire to help.
