Deaf Awareness Celebration!
Please join the staff of JVS as we celebrate Deaf Awareness on Wednesday October 1st from 1-4 p.m. in the JVS boardroom.
We will be showing the film, Through Deaf Eyes, which is a documentary focusing on Deaf culture, myths about Deafness, and how Deaf education has changed over the last 200 years. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about deafness, and the Deaf community. We will be serving refreshments.
Hope to see you there!
